Mumbai: At an event in Mumbai, celebrity women from different walks of life launched AurDikhao’s full-fledged campaign called #DetectToDefeat– more than 10 short videos featuring 16 women celebrities from different fields, to promote breast cancer awareness. Divya Khosla Kumar, Shaina NC, Priya Bapat, Disha Parmar and Shibani Dandekar were present at the launch event. Apart from October being known for the famous Oktober fest in Europe, in India we wish to stand for something more significant. For the uninitiated, October is observed as ‘International Breast Cancer Awareness Month’. Research says breast cancer is one of the fastest rising cancer types amongst women.
